Getting started

How to join

Java Edition: open Multiplayer, add a server and paste the address above.

Bedrock (phone, console, Windows): same address, port 19132.

Say yes to the resource pack when it asks. Without it the custom items look like plain vanilla ones. Once you are in, type /menu and it will show you around.

What you do there

Farming

Crops have seasons and quality. Grow the good stuff, sell it at the market, and let your farm golems do the dull bits.

Fishing

Rivers, lakes and the sea each have their own catch. Fill in your catch book and chase the rare ones.

Cooking

Turn what you grow and catch into proper meals, and age your own wine in the cellar.

Ranching

Breed animals, keep the best of each line, and raise a herd worth showing off.

Town

Shopkeepers, a herald and townsfolk who remember you. Take on their jobs and work your way up.

Your home

Claim land, build at your own pace and leave something behind. Nobody is going to raid you.

Who runs it

A one-person server

Project Permanence is built and run by Joe (Xeoano_Miners in game). Most of what you see, from the farming to the townsfolk, was made for this server. Bug reports, ideas and questions all go on Discord, and they do get read.

The server is free and always will be. If you want to help keep it running, the store has memberships and cosmetic packs. Nothing in it gives an advantage.
